KenVal Pressed Floral Designs are one-of-a-kind, high quality creations hand-crafted with freshly picked flowers that have been pressed dried and preserved. Each creation is completely unique, a work of art that celebrates the beauty of our natural world.

Growing up in the West Indies, Artist KenVal developed a passion for gardening and flowers that led her to experiment with pressed flower art. Today, her collection stands alone with its characteristic style and simple elegance.

Most of the flowers for KenVal's unique creations are cultivated from seed in her community garden in the Greater Hartford area.  She also incorporates into her designs the unique and exotic flowers she has collected during her travels throughout the continental United States and abroad, including her home in the West Indies.

Each flower is hand-picked at the peak of its beauty and then pressed dried. KenVal uses only the highest quality materials in the design of her framed and matted art, note cards, bookmarks, and custom creations.  

Her products are currently available in a number of museums, including the Wadsworth Atheneum and the New Britain Museum of American Art, as well as speciality gift shops and at premiere art and craft exhibitions.
